The company was established in 2017, and for the past three years has been very effective in waste collection and in offering commercial janitorial services as a full service cleaning contractor. HIH waste management has become a giant in the waste management as well as the environmental sanitation business in Sunyani Municipality and began its operations by providing waste collection services for shops and market women in Sunyani Municipality. ACHIEVEMENTS With the pillars of diligence and hard work, HIH waste management has distinguished itself by expanding into commercial janitorial services as well as corporate, industrial and solid waste collection since 2019. The Company is responsible for collecting the refuse of institutions, corporate bodies and industries such as DVRA, CASBE international School, enterprise life insurance, New Stanford, Food and Drug Board, A and A Clinic, Yanana Hotel etc. within the Sunyani Municipality The company repeatedly strives to perform creditably, ensuring that janitorial services and waste collection at all corporate institutions, industries are done regularly. Just this year, the company embarked on operation “collect and clean bin” where Bins are cleaned immediately after collections are done. HIH provide three different colours of waste Bins for specific types of waste. Hard work, discipline, and good business practice propelled HIH into a fully blown waste management and Sanitation Company with the acquisition of more tricycles and cleaning equipment. Supported by the acquisition of these additional vehicles, equipment and highly motivated professional management and technical staff, the company has embarked on aggressive expansion programmes in the waste management sector.
