About Daani

Daani is an online marketplace that was conceptualized as a result of a collaboration between HOPin Academy and The State Chancellery of North Rhine Westphalia. The goal of the platform is  to;

  • Create visibility for the MSMEs in Ghana.
  • OfferSMEs in Ghana a cost-effective way to get clients (B2C).
  • Develop partnerships between businesses in Ghana (B2B).

The marketplace development is a component of the Grow Northern Ghana project by HOPin Academy and funded by the State Chancellery of North Rhine Westphalia which seeks to create more investment opportunities and increase visibility and networking amongst startups and SMEs in Ghana which will contribute to a more vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystem in Northern Ghana and promote economic growth. The marketplace is currently supported by three Enterprise Support Organizations in the North of Ghana. Below is a brief about each organization.

HOPin Academy

HOPin Academy is the prime entrepreneurship support organization in the Northern Region, located in the heart of Tamale and supporting enterprises since 2013. The Academy provides goal-oriented, practice-oriented learning for young people harnessing technology. Their programs cover entrepreneurship, digital communication, Information Technology, video production, and business consultancy. As a social enterprise, they reinvest profits made through business consultancy and collaborative projects in empowering young people to realize their potential by providing a space for learning, idea generation and development of a startup entrepreneurial Ecosystem as means of contributing to sustainable development.

Noni Hub

Noni Hub was established in 2019 and registered as a not-for profit organization with a mandate to empower the youth with technological and entrepreneurial skills to enable them start their businesses and/ get employed in Wa, Upper West Region of Ghana. Their mission is to deliver top-notch IT and business development training; and support the next generation of promising Entrepreneurs. The organization also envisions to be a centre for technology, innovations and practical entrepreneurial training & development.

Dansyn ISO

Dansyn Innovation Social Organization (Dansyn ISO) is a business and tech innovation hub located in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region that specializes in providing growth support initiatives to startups and SMEs in the areas of entrepreneurship and digital skills training. Dansyn ISO provides business incubation and acceleration services to impact the community in which it operates while enhancing the economic and social status of the people. Dansyn ISO has supported and impacted a lot of startups and SMEs since its inception in 2014 and has contributed immensely to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Upper East Region and Ghana as a whole.
